PTR Radio

Probably after the next show we will be rolling out a new website.  This change is sparked by several emails and chats with listeners about our current site.  Additionally we as a group have come up with a list of things we would like to see to help enhance the site for listeners during live shows.  I would like to ask your opinion though in the design and functionality of the new site.  Please send requests for what you would like to see on the site, information you want to know, or even submissions of artwork to shaggy@ptrradio.com or miketheapeman@gmail.com.

Right now the only thing for sure that we are planing are host bio's and contact information. The redo of the site may result in a change of the podcast URL, so please be prepared to change your podcast client (more details to come, after the next LIVE show).  An example of some of the work being done on the graphics department is below (example of myspace graphic).  We also will have some banners for you to help promote the podcasts of both TAC and PTR shortly on the new site.  Remember if you have thoughts, artwork, show content, show reviews, or general chit-chat bull-sh*t just email shaggy@ptrradio.com.

Mission for Listeners:

Save the PTR, Spam the damon - Damon did not have the time to get us the broadcast information for NHB this week, evidentally he had something better to do.  What I have no idea!  We want you to tell him how much he should make this a priority.  We want to start a grass roots letter writing champaign, to get live programming back on mondays on NHB.

Tell him how much you want to hear PTR!  E-mail him (Damon@nhbradio.com) and let him know.  (example below)

Subject: I want my PTR!

Body: I listened to PTR all the time when they were on NHB.  I think you should really take the time to get Shaggy the information so myself and others can enjoy it on your network again.  So get off your lazy butt and stop playing hell moo longa enough to get him the information.  <fill in further insults, slams, demands, etc... here>.  <oh and dont forget to mention that we need our rider requests fullfilled too, bannana, limos, private dressing rooms, bottled water, etc...)

Yes I am trying this again, I forgot to set the category on the last on before posting so hopefully this one reminds me before I post.

Being the Microsoft whores that we are I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try and publish a post to my newest beta.  Windows Live Writer.  So hopefully this message will show up on the web site as a blog posting and I can report that Microsoft did get something right.

Sorry it took so long to put thris up, heck at least it went up before the next live show.
