PTR Radio

Another successful show tonight as we go through some more growing pains.  Tonight we got into brittney spears, seth green, bullet proof baby, motivational poster sites and a host of other topics.  The night was capped off by a french woman calling for tech support (it takes all kinds).

Make sure to listen to the break and email shaggy@ptrradio.com with which opening you like best.  I will post them seperatly as well tomorrow.

Ok well I think tomorrow I'm going to be recording a podcast for upload to the site.  I have a big meeting with a few folks lined up for the afternoon which will probably generate some anger atleast for a few minutes (who knows maybe I'll be surprised).  If not I've got arcoudple topics I know I'd like to bring up anyway that I don't thinnk the others would necessarily be on topic with.  At this point not really sure how long a solo show will go for, but I think I have a couple hours scheduled without interruption.

I'm honestly surprised that during the weekend you guys didn't get an episode, but I wasgs just working too much and it was really late.  I shouldn't write too much here though cause it will only take from the cast.  So check the feed wednesday morning for the new cast.  It's something you won't catch anywhere else!

Thats right folks, tonight was our first live episode and we got er done!  We probably got around 21 listeners (which actually is better than the original launch back in 2003) so can't complain too much.  This is just the begining though so please stay tuned.  I know Mike has a podcast and I plan on putting one out as well recaping what I thought about the show and how it went down.  As to who will be on the next one, will nate and colin be there? who knows.  I know we all had a real blast tonight and the feeling was very familiar to us (at least here in Studio-S).  I hope ApeMan feels the same way cause I know I have a lot to talk aboutoin retrospect.

Even though we didn't have the opening or closing and thve break was rushed I think we pulled off a better 1st show than many others and I for one look forward to more shows coming forward (Sept. 24th being the next live event). 

The real proof is in what you thought though!  E-mail us and tetll us what you thought, Shaggy@ptrradio.com is the email address I want to know what you thought from the listener perspective.  Tell me what we can improve on, what worked, and what to change completely.  Also please remember to keep spreading the word and spamming those lockers!

A rare find for everyone.  Thanks to nate and the resurection of the raid array I now have the entire 1st year of ptr radio.  So here is the actual 1st ever recorded airing of PTR.  This harks back to the days of 10 hosts, 1 mic and a crappy speakerphone to take calls.  Measure then to now by listening to this then tuning in Live Monday Night (9pm-11pm Eastern! Thats right the air check tonight went great and we are a go for tomorrows broadcast.
